Cellular Cycle is a company based out of Detroit, Michigan that specializes in the recycling and reselling of used cell phones. We go to local people, organizations, and businesses with a grass roots approach to extract phones from the community and at the same time we put back into our community whether it is putting money back in, helping revitalize Detroit through development, urban farming, or other acts of recycling. We are here to help! We also help other charities and functions as well with our phone drives.
Used cell phones are a growing electronic waste challenge. On average, American cell phone subscribers replace their cell phones every 18 months. In the U.S., between 100 million and 130 million cell phones are thrown away each year, representing an estimated 65,000 tons of electronics waste.
We are here to take part in that and help properly dispose or put these old cell phones to use.
We will be taking the streets and launching the company on August 1st. 2011, we are currently looking for an employee to work in the field to contact local people and businesses. Outside sales experience is a plus! Please email us if you are interested at ajabbar23@gmail.com
